Wallpaper 4k sunrise, horizon, trees, mountains, sky, clouds 4k ...

It was just before sunrise when I grabbed the bag of French Vanilla coffee from the
kitchen cupboard. As it dripped through the coffee maker, the aroma permeated the
room. I filled the 'World's Greatest Grandpa' mug nearly to the brim, added three
packets of Splenda and two teaspoons of creamer. It was perfect.

On my way to the front porch, I stopped and flipped through the stack of records and
found a vintage Loretta Lynn album that I gently placed on the old turntable, while
admiring the beautiful image of her on the cover.

Making my way to the rocking chair outside, Loretta's voice filled the country air with
'Coal Miner's Daughter.' I pondered what it would have been like to have actually
known her years ago. I bet we would have made a great couple.

The tree leaves slowly began glistening as the horizon started to glow. A thin overcast
of lavender clouds hung gracefully in the distance. I watched in awe at the wonderment
of this glorious morning.

The cat nudged and rubbed along my legs before jumping up into my lap, where he
purred as I petted him and we both enjoyed the magnificent sunrise. I heard a noise
off to my right and when I glanced over, I saw a baby doe nibbling berries from a bush
at the edge of the tree line. Butterflies danced about like fairies on the wind.

A couple songs later, the last of the fresh brew was gone. I took a deep breath of
morning air and then shooed the cat off my lap. I rinsed out the mug and set it in the
dish drainer, then bid Loretta adieu as I slipped her back into the sleeve of the old
album cover.

Before going out to my car, I stopped and thought about the contract taken out on
Mr. Gabe Wilkens. That lasted about five seconds because reasoning isn't my
concern. Then I stepped over his dead carcass, shut the door and left his farm...
ninety thousand dollars wealthier.
