There Ain't No Coming Back

There's one good thing about the job I do and I have a special knack
I bid them farewell then tuck them in because there ain't no coming back
I dress them in their finest suit and then I put make-up on their face
Then I take one last look make sure everything's in its proper place
I stand proud and I do my job so well, never had no one complain
I treat them all as my best friend don't matter if it's a Jack or Jane
I've been known to shed a tear 'specially when a body goes astray
And I have been heard to curse and swear when the earth becomes hard as clay
But come the time to stand grave side I forget where I have left my phone
Midway through the service I now recognise Bob Dylan's mournful tone
I look around but now I know the chimes lay in the cask with poor Jack
But its way too late for my new phone, like Jack there ain't no coming back
