How much more boring will life get,
when sheltering inside?
I've just received my stimulus,
seems luck is on my side.
But now I'm flush with money,
there's nowhere fit to go.
I miss the fun exciting sights,
the ones I used to know.
I've forgot how movie houses look,
the feelings, the inticing smells.
I'm tired of the food I cook,
I don't do it very well.
My hubby, though I love him,
is much too close to me.
He's used to being home, but me,
I just need to be free.
The things we never knew we'd miss,
we need them now to prove,
our life will keep on going,
in its rhythm, in its groove.
Something we've discovered is,
we work together well.
One lesson we'll remember,
though its costs put some through hell.
I think we never will forget,
how with hope we'll see this through.
We'll fight, soon we'll come out on top,
with strength we never knew.
