Envy is one of the deadly sins
It takes hold in your heart...then begins
To deface the likes of a kind soul
Due to jealousy's lack of control
This spiteful spirit will cause you doom
Allowing the green-eyed monster to bloom
It will cause ill-will and much despair
Destroying your mind, much sin to bear
Never envy anyone for who they are
Don't be like Satan, a fallen star...
