Sparkling shiny-eyed, we hopped and we skipped, then sat amidst presents, with the wrapping all stripped, while  slurping sweet strawberries with cream that was whipped. Stuffed full of goodies – yum! chocolate-dipped, we sang songs and told stories, a familiar script. Santa sprawled, snoozing – his suit was unzipped; snoring serenely, into slumber he’d slipped.   Writing Prompt Write a Pleiades poem for this contest. This poetry type requires a title with a single word. The poem itself has seven lines. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. See an example of this type of poem here.
