At twelve midnight
a pretty sight
bursts of bright light
explode with height
as time this year has now flown by

Inspired by Dolly, this is my first try with the style
The complex rhyming scheme is below. The poem has 10 lines. 8.6.8.6.8.4.4.4.4.8. Written in iambic pentameter.
