Caught in tempest of sudden snowstorm,                 bright autumnal leaves bravely cling to limbs now burdened with ice; their waning splendor heaves and moans until each mottled leaf lies buried by ermine white Nonet Poetry Contest Contest Winner Recognized Author Notes Dear Friends, Just a note: If you chance to read my offering on an iPad or an iPhone, the lines may appear "wonky."
