The creativity of an artist
is born from an idea that is given life,
to tell a specific story,
that is clearly relatable to fans
and moves them with feelings
Fanstory allows creativity to spin
Thoughts linger in the mind
It gets real when given life
Take a contest idea, any idea
Add a picture or not
And transform notions through writing
Study, practice and observe to hone skills
To get better and compete with others
Or just make friends with the same interest
It doesn't hurt to express yourself
I am an artist
I am a writer
I am a poet
I am an actress
I am single and stupid
And seeking to be a devil...
Dear Tom,
What should I really say?
Fanstory doesn't give me insurance benefits
And I've been on this website a long time
But I make money from reading reviews
And spend it on submission fees and promotions
Save here, Spend there
Sometimes, it's out of pocket work
Either way,
Reviews are worth the expense
Praise me
Badmouth me
Find some glory editing me
It all colors my world
It transforms me
Into a bigger emotional basket-case
Friendships aren't the same in this modern life;
I know this is a fact,
Because we're mutating into robots on here.
And with that thought, some tears appear ---
I love all my online friends
Alive and well,
But there are some now dearly departed
And I realize, this place is for real.
I was never here for a contest prize,
But I like winning too.
This is my creative outlet
Writing poetry is my hobby
This is your creative outlet
Writing poetry is your hobby
And FanStory copyrights our work
With or without buying a membership;
Writers are protected.
God bless Fanstory into an infinity.

Author Notes
I didn't read the rules... And liked what I wrote. Then, I realized there are questions to answer. I didn't know how to transition. I wrote plenty of my thoughts & feelings as an artist & friend to everybody into this poem. It's sentimental now. I can't edit it.
