Excellent A Thankful Dog Dogs will be Dogs by Maria Millsaps 100 Word Story writing prompt entry

I was on my way to a meditation seminar. I saw what appeared to be two dogs on the dirt road. I noticed the ugly skinny "dog" ready to pounce on the handsome dog. To my surprise, Mr. Ugly was a Coyote. I honked and the Coyote fled into the woods. The dog stayed on the dirt road leading me to the location. This dog blocked the road and would not allow me to go past him. I spoke kindly to the dog to move so I can pass through, he did after he thanked me by licking my hand. Writing Prompt Write a story of 100 words. not including the title. Any subject accepted. Must be exactly 100 words. Author Notes This actually happened yesterday, and I thought it would make a good story to share with my friends.  This happened very quickly and I did not have time to take a picture.
