Spring's Debut

Spring makes her entrance
Like a high-class debut
Wind is soft,
Snowflakes are few
March goes out with howling cacophony
April glides in like an orchestral symphony
Spring's lover asks, "May I have this dance?"
A springtime eve is filled with romance
A couple embraces, breath to breath
Celebrating winter's death
His black eyes attract and allure
They gaze at her dress of delicate azure
This season is budding forth anew
As she makes her proud debut
