I drink java for the protection of others. A day without a hot brew is stressful. I'd roast my own ground beans, if I had my druthers. Without a cup of joe my day will be unsuccessful. Writing Prompt Write rhyming poem (try to be brief) about the a stressful lack of coffee. Recognized Author Notes My rhyming poem is without the word coffee in it. The title is a pun. As per the instructions I kept it brief with a single stanza. Another term for coffee is a cup of mud. I wanted to use that term too. I selected the colors like my coffee, black with a little cream. I selected artwork which was a bit blurry, like my vision before coffee.
