Morning has broken
Alarm clock has spoken
Time to be facing life's reality;
Defeating reluctance,
To shine in abundance,
Depends on a cup of my hot coffee.
Woe to the dawning
Whilst I'm still yawning
No coffee is perking -- I am dismayed.
Seems we've forgotten
To buy coffee, how rotten,
Oh, caffeine-free morning, I am afraid!
Now, the decision,
What be the mission;
Suffer to Starbucks and pay the price?
Or, can of Coke to
Wake up - it will do -
Caffeine is caffeine, even cold as ice!

Never do I understand why anyone pay so much for a Starbucks coffee -except on those occasions when there is no alternative in my morning.
