Grandma, you were with me on that very, very sad day,
your precious little girl, my mommy, passed away.
Both of us are lost in times past, we share with a sigh
good memories of times, never to have again, gone by.
With the angels, she now dwells above,
she's in our hearts surrounded by love.
Grandma, don't be sad and let's not cry,
mommy wants us to be happy, that's why.
Every night, as we pray to God, and kiss good night,
we feel her hugging us endlessly and very tight.
Our souls are filled with shadows of the past,
your memories are with us and have to last.
Grandma and grandpa, I love you so much
with my mommy you keep me in touch.
Visiting mommy's grave and sprinkling flowers,
we sit with mommy and talk about good times for hours.

The picture speaks a thousand words. This was a sad day for all of us. We talk about her mommy every day and she will never be forgotten. Unfortunately, this is a true poem.
