Secrets of Distant Summer Thunder by Y. M. Roger
Nonsense Verse Challenge writing prompt entry

From the yard, there came a relage,
So fremmed it caused a loud shrelln -
Its haylings perfect camouflage
For throksten prilk among the Elm...

Two strokes it made toward pink shiltosh
Before morgopic amptar,
Then ev’ry bampheer was awash
In subdell viehrns of cinnabar...

Not since then have ruffinspry called,
The yard waits, thromley and fleyl,
‘Til nephans form their gay smikksbald
‘Midst ehrshuls found in thunder’s peal
