Yes - we've gotten rid of cable because all we heard any time we tried to just get some updates (local, national, or global) was U.S. politics. It was a steady drumbeat that got very old and very annoying -- and it tended to affect our mood. With our streaming service, we can stream just about anything we want now (within reason - lol!) for a portion of the cost and whenever we want to see it...Oh! And NO commercials! :) It's probably not the solution for everybody, but it has really worked for us!! :) :)
