A new camera in my hand, I traipsed into the forest to get some pictures of wildlife. Spotting two bear cubs, I aimed my lens and got a shot of them. Then mama came along. I was saved by a skunk, who'd been disturbed, and reacted by spraying the sow. Writing Prompt Write a 50-word flash fiction story about an animal (or that prominently features an animal) -- any animal, great or small, wild or tame... Exactly 50 words. Author Notes I'd always wanted to make a skunk a hero of a story.
