Christmas

He was born on Christmas day
So lovely to be found.
In a manger laid in hay
And angels all around.
A star was shining in the sky,
And shepherds on the hill.
He came to earth to live and die
To help us do God's will.
|

This little poem came to me in 1970 and I always kept it safe, so here it is.
