Waking up in the early morn
Having coffee as the Sun is born
Watching Venus fade away
This can really make my day
A towering cloud that kisses the sky
Or a fluffy seed that drifts on by
Thoughts of creation arise in my soul
Dancing about, they make me feel whole
Pondering the meaning of what life's about
Imagining eternity and having no doubts
This infinite wonder resides there in me
As a joyful expression that sets my soul free
But little kids laughing as they run all around
Is perhaps the Earth's, most joy giving sound
Not a tear could befall the saddest of man
When the spirits of children cover this land
What makes me happy there is much more to say
