Silence of sunday
hushed by the pristine fresh snow
tamped into life forms
frozen elephants emerge
with dripping, icicle tusks

Author Notes
Okay this poem would make much more sense if I had included a photo of my snow elephant, but alas, she was not ready for her close-up. Tomorrow will add picture. Used to be so much easier to build these snow sculptures when I was younger. sigh..
