Rains and chills ending of summer Lightning, thunder How I wonder How I ponder Thinking of paying winter's price Slipping on ice Not once, not twice And not too nice Burning cold winds flay children's cheeks Cloud mass, sun peeks Dried-up spring creeks Sharp, freezing weeks Author Notes I decided to write a minute poem because I saw it in the list of contests.
