"I'm having a heart attack. I'm going to die!" She was gripped by abject terror. Her breathing was labored. She was shaking and sweating. And oh, the chest pains! She pulled the car over and stopped, took slow, deep breaths and relaxed her muscles. The panic attack began to subside. Writing Prompt Write a flash fiction story of exactly 50 words about fear. The title is not part of the word count. Any genre is acceptable, just be sure the story in some way touches on the topic of fear. Author Notes Thankfully, I don't suffer from panic attacks, but I know people who do and they have described it to me. It is a truly frightful experience.
