Sum does not mean total under arithmetical or mathematical calculation
Sum, the word used artistically and metaphorically, theoretically and practically, means and refers to the total only the person understands exactly in real terms of living
The phrase 'in sum' does not refer to the mathematical calculation of total for living is not calculable in terms of mathematics, but it refers to in total, briefly, in a word
Scribe means to write
Departure refers to one's leaving a God gifted life from the temporary land of this God created and gifted world; the truth is that life comes and goes, though a soul is indestructible, in this spiritual essence of life, a life is expressed like an arrival (birth of a new life) and departure (ends of a life, mortal death, the end of a life, soul remains to get a new life in a new body after a new birth gifted by God; a life is gifted for living on infinite tests of God, as one makes, so one's living becomes for standard of a man reveals through his expressions for wisdom sparks through each word in expression; this means and refers that a man is known by and through his or her expressions in any mode, manner or language whatsoever; as such living is the embodiment or in sum of expression all over living that is why history speaks one's expressions and remembers as per the stand of one's expression, before or after his or her departure)
As a life is created by God, though there is no mention of God, this poem is considered a spiritual poem in essence, since God creates life; but, that does not mean man is immortal or divine, a life is spiritual as God is the Creator of life, the truth speaks so
