Excellent Story without the letter A Fun in the Deep Grey Pond by Sugarray77 Life Without The Letter A writing prompt entry

When there were only fish in the deep grey pond, screeching birds plus flying insects were the only noises to be found. But, when the otters entered there with their frolicking, bringing very noisy tricks, life in the low lying pond morphed into frenzied merriment. No longer did the serene, idyllic environment move with slow boredom. The otters scouted for some unique log to christen this new beginning. They found one sitting slightly tilted to the west. It ended up being the slide of slides. The otters could be found sliding even in the worst of storms. The elm log bore slippery sides with grooves through its center. Perfect for fun in sun or showers. The theme of this story is ... if you become bored, invite frolicking, slippery otters (or fun loving pets) to come liven things up.
