Joan is a nun. Jane is a whore.
Such close twin sisters are they.
Visiting each other whenever they can
to discuss the affairs of the day.
Although their careers are quite different
they are like two peas in a pod
but Jane likes living the high life
and Joan likes praying to God.
They're not exactly identical
but have very similar looks.
Blue eyes and red hair and also share
a love of music and books.
Jane has a flat in the city
and conducts her business from there.
Joan lives in a convent
with nothing around but fresh air.
Neither regrets their choice in life,
they each tackle the chores of the day
but sometimes Jane longs for peace and quiet
and Joan often longs for a lay.
