Our love is precious.

Our love has always been precious,
like a jewel in a box.
It lasted long, almost forty years.
Then God and the angels took you home.
Now I am so alone and can hardly cope.
I search the house if I can find you.
Our dog Smokey misses you too.
If I am away for half a day,
he shivers from anxiety-scared
I am dead too.
I'll come to you very soon
by a full moon, always a good sign.
Then we are one again.
Love you more than you know.
