Excellent Still remembered Just the Same by HarryT Teddy bear contest entry

He wasn't a brown teddy bear but I loved him just the same Other kids had teddies furry, brown with famous names Some bragged they had a Stiffle or an Ashby bear said my bear was not the same They teased... "Your bear is not a teddy, he can't play in any of our games." No my bear was not a teddy his color was greying white with black legs, ears and eyes encircled black. Yes, for sure, he was different that was an undeniable fact He was my panda bear Charlie was his name I loved him and he loved me I cared not what others claimed When I needed him he was there for me I'd squeeze him and he'd comfort me I know not where Charlie is now, but his memory echoes just the same Author Notes I really did have a panda named Charlie.
