make the blessing an orphaned porridge too weak to eat
if good measure pressed down and shaken together
is not Christ's witness in an honoring son
and daughter to racism's best man come any weddings honest hand
the gestation of common men
examine the author of defined friend
and discover the American in them
hope eternal's turned page of promise remains ever veteran
because every birth-rite among the forest of unwritten leafs
sees the truth through the treason
