I have prayed to God
He knew I was in trouble
my heart was destroyed
happiness has lain dormant
a soul without any fire
then
she enters my life
my heart skips a beat or two
my stomach flutters
butterflies flitting around
has me excited with life
while
her touch settles me
those butterflies still persist
as they continue
to make me feel great about
what our friendship means to us
as
her beauty rocks me
her inner beauty shows me
how caring she is
our emotions run quite deep
our bond~~~undeniable
now
no one can ever
come between us; it's that strong
loving each other
makes our lives more bearable
as friends go, we are soulmates
