They got a new puppy, to my dismay.
Why did they have to do that, anyway?
I was the cute one in this house.
Clumsy puppies can’t catch a mouse!
This one’s devoid of dignity.
It seems more like a pig to me!
Life was sweet, I realize;
Three’s an ideal family size.
Am I not enough to cuddle?
Do I need that puppy’s puddle?
The scruffy thing’s not clean like me.
Pretty soon he’ll give me fleas!
There’s lots of food, but he can’t wait;
He steals the cat food off my plate.
That dummy doesn’t even know, truly, what his species is;
He’s always at my litter box, sniffing where my feces is.
One new pet is one too many, I find, but it seems they’re going to get another kind!
I heard the woman say she thinks they will welcome one more little mouth to feed, maybe.
As if a puppy isn't bad enough, we’ll have to deal with something called a baby!
