We don't need a rogue leader
Who rules with an iron fist
Behavior breeds behavior
Instead we should insist
Our leaders lead with heart, soul and love
The three ingredients to rule with perfection
Without these three we continue in the wrong direction
Heart, soul and love, the perfect trio
A leader is no leader who operates out of ego
We want a world that lives in peace and harmony
Not a world consumed with arms and money
We can all get along if people would stop pointing out the differences
And start seeing what makes us the same
We all have a heart and we all have felt pain
Haven't we learned from our mistakes by now?
If we want to keep living we have to change somehow!
People need to know we can live side by side
The people before us who said it couldn't be done
Well, those people lied
Open your mind to the possibilities
They are endless if we tried
What could it hurt to try?
One less hungry child, one less baby who cries
For the sake of all children and their children too
I beg you...
Stop all the violence, corruption and greed
It's time we planted a new kind of seed
It's time for ours minds to let go of the old and think in a new way
Lead with our hearts and souls, and love one another I say
All God wants is what's best for all people
It doesn't matter where you pray
It doesn't require a steeple
The power of love, is the greatest of all
When we all feel it together there is no wall
Nothing can separate us no matter how tall
People are people there's no difference at all
The capacity to love is inside every one of us
When we choose love over hate
Our power becomes Gracious!
Our world never ends
If we all become friends
