The closet held the clothes she wore,
memories in a fabric's weave.

That floral dress, by the ocean shore
wind tossed hair, our spirits soared.
Remembering her, hurts to my core.

A pillow stitched in love, I grieve.

I hug the pillow, can't love her more,
colors that blend, like autumn leaves.

Author Notes
Thanks to cleo85 for the perfect illustration. I wrote this for my friend who cherishes and can't let go of her mother's clothes. I thought if she made a nice big quilted pillow of her clothes, she could have a nice memory of her mom on her couch.
