A nervy gang of slimy slugs tagged my sidewalk last night, I found their graffiti all over the place at dawn's first light. Their message on my sidewalk made me grouse and grumble, so if they keep on coming back, I guess we'll have a rumble. Writing Prompt A quatrain is a poem that has four lines for each stanza. It usually has rhyme scheme of abab or its variant, xbyb. Click here for an example. Recognized Author Notes My handbook to literature says that the rhyme scheme aabb is acceptable for a quatrain so that is what I have chosen. This is just a little spoof at having to clean up after nature's visitors.
