No words to soothe
so I won't even try,
But I'll hold you close
and together we'll cry.
Time heals all wounds
but that's just not true.
We adapt to the loss,
work our way through.
We suffer this pain
deep in our hearts,
we celebrate life,
but death plays a part.
For now, we will weep,
for the pain is too much.
The love in our hearts,
grief can not touch.
