-two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery (paints mental image)
-satori line or aha-moment (can be the first or last line)
-personification allowed
-minimal punctuation and capitalization
-no author's notes
-no end rhymes
-no artwork, videos, music or animation
-white background and black text
-title must be: haiku (first line of poem) |
