Ten little children
are standing in the choir
... lifting their voices to sing,
setting souls on fire
All ten are excited
proud as can be
The tenth child is short -
and can barely see
Ninth little girl with
a white bow, curly hair,
gives a smile as the music
flows through the air...
The eighth girl is cute,
she is only three -
She's always playful,
...busy as a bee
By the candlestick -
is a boy, he's number seven,
with a dimpled face...
he looks towards Heaven
little boy number six
holds his head a tilted way -
Can't wait to be finished
he is ready to play…
The fifth child's a little girl,
with long gorgeous hair -
Her mom is thankful to the Lord,
that she is in His care
Singer number four has a
red ribbon around her head,
Lifting hands toward Heaven,
...praising God for daily bread
The smallest of all is...
precious boy number three,
He recalls the time...
his cat got stuck in a tree
The second child's a little girl
with a smile on her face -
Giving glory and honor to God
while singing "Amazing Grace."
The tallest of them all is...
an alto…she's singer number one
With all their voices singing praises,
God in Heaven says, well done!!!
