"This is Annie Oakley your narrator for "Shed More Tears Fairy tales and Fables!"
"This is Ricky's second book about this amazing and learning book! "
"The Water and the Pail" is a story for water!'
"W all need water to live cow-kids {especially out West}"
"Let's see and try to understand Ricky's message, ask the family who reads to you to help! "

"Once and there will be...
"A Once Upon A Time in rhyme,there was a lake, and in that lake was the only water source in the small town call 'Mi-li-a-lee!'
"And there was a bridgcrossing the lake with a nasty and selfish 'Pail!'
"And that lake called 'Sei-lee' was very sad as no one ever partaken of here beautiful and clean, blue, waters!"
"And there was TROULBLE!!"

"Hello, my name is 'Zi-lee-lee' and may I cross this lake sir?"
She asked the mean 'Pail.'
"Why? He questioned.
"To fetch a pail of water of course for my family are very, very, thirsty."
"You are the only source of course."
"Come back tomorrow and don't bother me again today!" He rumbled!"
...
"Devastated, the little girl left and cried the whole way home...
"Her Father 'Mi-len' was so disturbed he brought the 'Switch' out!"
"OUCH!"
"Tears rolled down her sad, sad, face and her father 'Mi-len' said...
"You had better come back tomorrow with a full pail or you will get the 'Switch' again and again!"
He yelled!
"Father-San the 'Pail is mean and nasty and would not givea drop."
"No excuse 'Zi-lee-lee!'
...
"The next day and the following days, and months led into years of tears as 'Zi-lee-lee' returned again and again!"
"Never a drop of water or a quench of thirst as I continue to write in non-prose verse...
...
"So, 'Zi-lee-lee' did the only thing left and prayed each night and day to God for just one, single, pail of the precious waters from 'Zie-lee.'
"God proposed a riddle to fool the stingy, old and nasty 'Pail!'
"So, The next day in the month of April...
" April 1st, {April Fool's day}, 'Zi-lee-lee' approached the lake, crossed the bridge, and asked the 'Pail' for just a drop of water as she had travelesd far and she was very, very, thirsty."

"You!
"You come each day and pester me for water!"' He Screamed.
"The water of this lake are mine and mine only!"
"FOREVER!!"
"I know 'Pail-San' but if you can answer my riddle about the subject of 'Water,' I will never return." She Said.
"Hmm...
"Just one?" He asked.
"Just one."
"OK.
...
"What is your riddle and what will be your reward if I fail? Asked the 'Pail.'
"Access for me, my family and the entire and thirsty town." She answered.
"Agreed....
"How many uses and names are there for water Sir?"
...
"Well...
"There is water, rain, snow, steam, H2o, fog, ice, blizzard, rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, puddles...
"And they are all sources of liquid for thisty beings and creatures that I care less about!"
"Now leave and never return!" Her demanded!
"Oh sir Pail' you forgot one more one more most spiritual and precious of one." She Said.
"What?"
"What trick is this and what is the word 'spiritual?'
"Do you have the last one?" She asked the 'Pail.'
"No!"
"And leave anyway or I will hit you with my metal pail!' He screamed!!!"
...
"Allof a sudden,the clouds parted and god appeared!"
"There will be no hitting and no more of you 'Pail' as I banish you!"
"God announced.
...
"Many years later and only three weeks the "Pail' had passed away and the town to this very day never went thirsty again!"
