Upcoming Season--Sea of White Snow falls, stalls, blow, Drifts pile, while miffs. Freeze curls, swirls breeze. Scoop, droop. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Recognized Author Notes Pissonnet (pi-so-nay) is 14 single syllable words marching across the page like a line of ants. The rhyme scheme is abba cddc effe gg the same as a Shakespearean sonnet. It was introduced a decade ago by Wanda-Sue Parrot and Vera-Jane Goodin Schultz and has been used in Missouri Poetry contests and is slowly branching out.
