I know a lil girl that lives so carefree
Dancing in her gown high above the trees
Twirling on her toes giggling with delight
To make anyone smile she'll use all her might
What will she be when all grown up
An astronaut, Doctor or driver of a tow truck
Maybe she'll have babies all of her own
Or a wife in charge of caring for her home
What will she look like as a grown lady
Silver hair with wrinkles and glasses maybe
Wearing dresses with ol' Kleenex in the pocket
Around her neck with pictures is a tiny locket
On earth we'll never know who she'd be
At 24 days old she went to Heaven you see
A beautiful Angel so pure and small
She has no desire for her toys or baby doll
When mommy has another baby again
Telling her siblings Sophia's story to the end
So proud to know an Angel sister lives above
Memories are cherished and they'll know she is loved
