I had no thought of anything special transpiring as this was just another in a lengthy list of calendar entries. Another evening of simply interacting with likeminded folk who care about the very same things as I. In the midst of the mundane pleasantries, a simple introduction was made. He was not striking in the general sense, but something about his eyes held me captive. Eyes that drew me into the center of his universe and held me spellbound. After all these years, I am still his prisoner and will never grow weary of looking deep into his eyes. Writing Prompt In 100 words, or less, write a short story--not necessarily a flash-fiction, though it could be--on the theme/subject/topic of 'prisoner'. It could be literal or metaphoric.
