"Jack," wailed Mum, "we have no chow.
Alas, you'll have to sell the cow."
Can you believe this crazy kid?
Kiboshed their dreams; guess what he did?

All that he got was 'magic' beans;
No hope was left, just smithereens!
Despairing, Mother threw seeds out,

Then twisty trunks began to sprout.
Heroically, Jack climbed the crop...
Eventually, he reached the top.

Befriended by an ogre's wife
Each meal-time led to giant strife.
As sniffing Giant Fee-Fie-Fummed,
Now in the oven, Jack's heart drummed.
Somnolent, the giant slept;
Taking hen and harp Jack crept.
Alarmed the giant; Jack was faster -
Lopped the beanstalk - huge disaster!
Keep this moral from the story:
                         - magic beans may lead to glory.
