WISH UPON A STAR.
If I could wish upon a star
how cool that would be.
I could wish for fame and fortune
or for anonymity.
I could wish to travel back in time
to meet Leonardo da Vinci.
To find out more about Mona
and her genealogy.
I could wish to travel forward
to taste the thrills of tomorrow.
And know the future with all
its joy and sorrow.
But no I wouldn't wish for any of these.
They don't mean a lot to me.
I simply wish to meet again
for a brief moment or two,
my dear departed husband.
To savour again the depths of our
love and compatibility.
