giving me strength
in times of stress

ever-changing
but always there
You are my stars
twinkling brightly
through times of darkness

bursts of bright color
against a sea of green
You are my morning
the wonder that is born
with each new day
You are my songbird
singing that welcomes
at the break of dawn
You are my ocean
waves rolling steadily
in and out on sandy beach
You are my down
the softness of feathers
on the first plumage of a bird
You are my night
the peacefulness
between sunrise and sunset
You are my reflection
