I am me...
but only because
He has given me choice
and individuality
I agree
before I let Him into my life
I still had choice
but my oh-so-small voice
was clouded with confusion
and uncertainty
now, I'm free
to love and be loved
interdependantly
living in the company
of angels
and a partner who trusts and respects me
now, I can be
a part of the biggest miracle in history
a force for good
that rules Heaven and Earth for eternity
for He gave His only son, Jesus Christ
to save even me
and I can see
the truth that His wisdom allows me
so, if I just listen to my heart
I too can play my part
for He has given me the greatest gift of all...

Author Notes
The words in italics are all gifts He has given us.
Interdependancy = a term coined by Stephen R. Covey to describe the in-between state of "dependency" and "independency" = where two people can have a relationship built on understanding and trust, supporting each other's needs, yet not living in each other's pockets.
Angels, in this case, refers to children.
