You were created beautiful, interior and exterior,
To no other creature, anywhere, were you inferior.
Yet jealousy began to be, and expanded in your heart,
Not enough to fill your role, you would have My part.
But I am God, and besides Me, there dwell no others,
Down you go, to the lowest Hell, against your druthers.
On your way to eternal doom, you seek to take the man,
He, weak and gullible, disobedient to Me, means you can.
But I have laid help on One who is mighty, strong to save,
Those who call on Him will be saved from sin and the grave.
He, though One of Us, the Second Adam gladly became,
Lived as a man, sinless, obedient, without a spot of blame.
He loved His Holy Father, He loved His helpless race,
And by the power of the Spirit, He opened the door of grace.
Foolish man! What will you give for your eternal soul?
He has paid agony and blood, to make you forever whole.
He wants no possession of yours, but rather that you should live,
Don’t be blinded by the now, know He holds life to give.
The jealousy begun in Satan’s heart may now dwell in you,
A lesser goal than original, lowered to the obedient that bow.
Christ holds all authority and power, is all perfection of love,
Soon, soon, He comes, with all the Mighty ones from above.
And that which Lucifer’s jealousy spurred him on to steal.,
Is now beheld in the Risen Christ, the sinner’s sure appeal..
