You came to me when I was down I did not know your name, But your kindness touched my very heart And kept me feeling sane. You did not judge or look at me In any disapproving way, But you instead gave me hope And so you made my day. You have touched my soul with your kindness By making time for me, I can not thank you enough For the hot food and cup of Tea You came to me when I was down, I did not know your name, It did not matter that I was homeless You still cared for me all the same.
