Excellent Why do people call on the lord when they need him Need by cgilljr 5-7-5 Poetry contest entry

My little baby girl always calls on her mother for everything.I can be right next to her and she would call,"mom".But today she called on me,"Daddy,Daddy", she cried "What is it baby" I fell down and hurt my Knee." So,I put ice on it. In about five minutes she was up playing around outside.I was so happy that she called on me,but a little upset.So I asked the lord one day,"Why is it everytime my baby wants something she calls,"mom and when she needs something she calls on me? The lord answered back and siad, Because that's the only time you call on me".
