Its lovely to hear his voice
I lose myself in a realm far from here
soft and smooth I can't fight it
rocks me slow to sleep as he tells me a story
I try to listen, I do
But too distracted
I can see the smile through the words
The comfort it gives me
of the little things
he does
I love this most
the voice calling in the darkness
My song of virtue
the voice of reason
