I PUT THEM BACK, SHE TAKES THEM OUT
I put them back, she takes them out
In Tidyland she'll interfere
This little miss is quite devout
I stack them back, she drags them out
Amidst the mess I start to shout
"You help clean up these toys, you hear?"
I shove them back, she turfs them out
With Mummy's law, she'll interfere
I mop it up, but she's devout
And flings the juice from there to here
She touts the pour and pulls the pout
I wipe it up, but she's devout
Will drain her teapot via spout
Each drop enhancing wet veneer
I soak it up, but she's devout
In spreading mess from there to here
I pile it up and she'll appear
Then pelt around or fling about
Untidyness is her career
As I pick up, it would appear
My Clean Campaign she's out to smear
Her slothful gene's begun to sprout
I pack it up, but she'll appear
And so the endless roundabout ...

** This contest called for 3 Triolets linked together but could still stand alone when read.
No Christmas or Season themes.
Modified or Traditional.
I took the Modified route.
The standard or traditional Triolet is 8 lines of iambic tetra or pentameter.
Lines 1,4 and 7 repeat and also lines 2 and 8.
Rhyme scheme ABaAabAB
A Modified Triolet usually has the repeat lines varying slightly but with same word on end.
This is dedicated in entirety to my daugther Tahlia who is all of two years and eight months.
She is indeed a force to be reckoned with.
In one word: Relentless.
