winter crystals melt unveiling exquisite blooms jewels of the spring Writing Prompt Write a Haiku! Haiku is a poem with only three lines. The catch is there is a strict syllable count. The first line has 5 syllables, second 7, third 5 again. See an example and details in the announcement. Recognized Author Notes Spring is getting ever so close. I can't wait!!!! Because the contest was "Blind" the words below and my identity were not revealed till after the contest.
