bout half a century ago

efore I became as smart as I am today of

ourse, there lived a little tow-headed girl named

ebbie who was forever getting into

very kind of trouble she could

ind no matter where Debbie would

o, trouble had a way of finding

H
er and followed her around like Felix, Debbie's favorite cat.

I
'm innocent, Debbie would claim when the

ar of peanut butter was half empty or the

K
araoke machine blasted through the

L
ime green walls which decorated her

M
other's special room

N
ext to the pink lollipop kitchen which

O
pened up to the back

P
addock where Debbie often pretended to be a

Q
ueen waiting for her Prince to come

R
iding in on his white horse wearing

S
ilver spurs and

T
arnished armor glittering in the afternoon sun

U
ntil one day Debbie's cranky old brother named

V
ictor, caught her red handed stealing cookies

W
hen she was supposed to be taking a nap while looking through his

X
-ray goggles with the

Y
ellow snappy straps and ratted her out to mom; who of course took the

Z
est right out of Debbie's afternoon and put her back down for her nap!

Write an abecdarian poem, using the 26 letters of the alphabet chronologically. An abecedarian poem is a special form of an acrostic poem, in which the initial letters of the words beginning each line or stanza spell out the alphabet in order.
